Q: How many times a year does Harvard accept incoming students? When?
A: Once a year in the Fall.
Q: Do they require an additional application?
A: Yes. Secondary applications must be completed by November 1 with a fee of $85.
Q: When are AMCAS applications due?
A: AMCAS applications must be filled between the dates of June 2007 - October 15, 2007.

Q: What other factors does Harvard consider for incoming students?
A: "In addition to academic records, the information considered by the Committee on Admissions includes the essay written by the student, MCAT scores, extra-curricular activities, summer occupations, and life experiences. Any experience in the health field including research or community work is also noted, as well as the comments contained in the letters of evaluation. We look for evidence of integrity, maturity, concern for others, leadership potential, and an aptitude for working with people."

Letter of Recommendation

Q: How many Letters of Recommendation should I prepare?
A: Applicants may submit up to 6 letters.
Q: Who should be authoring these letters?
A: 2 letters should be from science professors that you have had classes with, at least 1 should be from a non-science professor, and you should include letters from all of your research supervisors.
Q: When should I send them?
A: All letters must be post marked by August 1.
