Q: How many times a year does UCSF accept incoming students? When?
A: Once a year in the Fall.
Q: Do they require an additional application?
A: Yes. A secondary application will be sent to you if you are selected.

MCAT & GPA

Q: Overall MCAT Median (Verbal Reasoning, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences)?
A: 11, 12, 12
Q: Overall GPA Median?
A: 3.8
Q: Science GPA Median?
A: 3.79
Q: Is there a minimum GPA requirement?
A: Students with a GPA below 3.20 are not considered favorable. But it is not "be all end all" rule. non-traditional students should not be discouraged.
Q: How old can my MCAT scores be?
A: The MCAT must be taken within 3 years of your intended start date.
Q: When should I take the MCAT when applying to UCSF?
A: The MCAT must be taken by September of the previous year to begin at UCSF in Fall of the next year.

Letter of Recommendation

Q: How many Letters of Recommendation should I prepare?
A: UCSF requires a minimum of three Letters of Recommendation.
